These are single use tests used to indicate the presence of bacteria, fungi and moulds after laundering. There are 2 types of dip-slide available each supplied in boxes of 10 dip-slides per box.

Test Piece 1 (TP1)

Single use test piece with 6 EMPA soiled swatches attached that are designed NOT to come totally clean in one wash. They are used to evaluate wash quality and detergent performance across a full range of soil types.

Vacuum Meter

The vacuum meter measures the vacuum levels on the rolls of multi-roll ironers to give guidance on vacuum baffle plate adjustments and air-flow through the ironer rolls to atmosphere.

Single use wash quality evaluation test swatches. Swatches are available with a range of soiling types in batches of 10 of each soiling type.

Incubators

Used in conjunction with dip-slides to culture any organisms found on the dip-slides. There are 2 sizes of incubator (2 station unit or 24 station unit).

Test Piece 2 (TP2)

This is a 25 wash test piece used to determine fabric damage in a wash process, estimate fabric life and measure levels of soil re-deposition, brightness, residual alkali and bleach and iron (Fe++) contamination. Each test piece with a report includes a cuprammonium fluidity test.

Tachometer

The tachometer accurately measures the roll speed on ironers to determine the speed differential between each roll is being achieved to thereby minimise creasing/tearing risks and maximise ironer output.

Testing equipment for the laundry professional

A simple to use kit that helps to identify customer abuse of textiles. The kit – with chemicals and test instruction manual - identifies the miss-use of linen for cleaning bathrooms and kitchens as well as to determine the cause of holes and other common areas of customer abuse. This is the must have tool for the customer service representative . The kit is also suitable for evaluating the quality of new textile stocks prior to placing them into circulation.
