Richard Neale - Director

Richard has a PhD in Chemical Engineering and has worked for a number of years in the Chemical industry (Petro-chemical and Industrial Chemicals). Richard took over as the Managing Director of FCRA (Fabric Care Research Association) in July 1983.
5 years later, he started his own consultancy business in the UK. Together with Ian Harris, the consultancy has grown into the much in-demand ‘Laundry and Drycleaning Technology Centre’.
Steve Anderton - Director

Steve trained at Derby College whilst with the Lakeland Pennine Laundry group during the late 1980’s, gaining both Production and Management experience in large Laundries and Drycleaning units. He then joined JLA to become a leading authority in Ozone Technology, Wet-cleaning, Healthcare laundering and the profitable operation of smaller ‘In-house’ laundries.
He joined LTC & DTC in 2007 to head-up all Training, bringing with him his wealth of experience as an NVQ Assessor, Trainer and Internal Verifier.
Fiona Cawood - Office Manager

Fiona has over 21 years experience as an Executive PA. She's also worked as a Sales Administrator and Customer Services Assistant for a retail clothing company and has also worked as an Office Administrator in a Data Marketing company.
Fiona joined LTC & DTC in January 2010 and has bought with her a wealth of systems & procedural knowledge. Fiona takes care of orders and the preparation of reports & accounts. Fiona also works on our textile fault appraisal service.
Ian Harris - Director

Ian started as a Trainee Laundry Manager over 45 years ago with the Ilford Laundry Group. He has since worked for both Hospital and Textile Rental companies in Senior Management positions as well as with Unilever (South Africa) and Procter & Gamble (UK).
In 1992 he started SDML Consultancy & Training in Southern Africa. 11 years later, he then returned to the UK to continue his consultancy business. Ian then merged forces with Richard Neale in 2004 and together, they formed LTC & DTC.
Stuart Boyd - Director

Stuart trained at Derby College whilst with Smarts Laundry group and has spent over 30 years in the laundry and dry cleaning industry working in the Private sector with organisations including Cannon and Brooks and two NHS laundries. Most recently he has combined this expertise as a Management and Business lecturer within UK Further Education. This has included extensive working overseas delivering processing and management training courses and seminars.
Stuart is a specialist in the areas of laundry chemistry, operational management, specifying and refurbishing facilities, staff development and motivation as well as the identification and delivery of management solutions.
